Founded in 2009, Travelteq quickly gained an international following, with features in The New York Times and Esquire. After a period under different leadership that shifted production elsewhere, we’re thrilled to relaunch in October 2024, returning to our roots of Italian craftsmanship and superior quality. Our new collection embodies the original spirit of Travelteq, with premium leather goods designed for discerning professionals. Stay tuned for updates and the possible return of classic favorites.
Shipping & Returns
Your order will be dispatched within 2 business days of being placed.
Free shipping on all orders within the Netherlands and Belgium.
European and North American orders over €400 qualify for free shipping.
Shipping to Qatar/UAE is available at a flat rate of €15.
Deliveries inside the EU are free of import duties.
outside the EU are made on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis, meaning the receiving customer is responsible for any import duties or related costs

We always aim for our customers to love their Travelteq product. Should you nevertheless wish to return an item, this is possible within 30 days of delivery.
To start a return, please log in using the email address linked to your order via the following link: open link. From your account, you can submit a return request, which will come directly to our team.
Important:
Return requests are reviewed and processed once per week, every Monday.
If you submit a return request on another day (for example on Friday or during the weekend), it will be reviewed on the next Monday. The return period is considered met based on the date the return request is submitted, not the date it is approved.
Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label. Returns are accepted only if the item is unused, in perfect condition, and in its original, undamaged packaging.
After we receive and carefully inspect the returned product, a full refund will be issued.
Unfortunately, we are unable to organize an exchange. If you wish to exchange an item, it will be treated as a normal return. You can send us your return, and upon receipt, our team will inspect the condition of the item. If the product is returned in its original condition, we will credit the amount back to you. In the meantime, you can place a new order for your preferred item.

Our products
Our products feature top-grade Vacchetta leather, meticulously sourced from Tuscany, Italy. This leather undergoes a vegetable tanning process, an organic method that relies on natural tannins from plant tissues.
Vachetta leather naturally develops a rich, darker tone over time, giving it a unique character that reflects your journey. To keep it looking its best, avoid prolonged sunlight and water exposure. Handle with clean hands, as the leather absorbs oils that contribute to its natural aging. For maintenance, we recommend using a leather balm sparingly to maintain softness and durability. With proper care, your bag will only grow more beautiful with age.
Our Vachetta leather is tanned using natural materials, giving it a unique, beautiful character, but it also requires care. Rain and leather don’t mix—excessive water exposure can lead to staining. If you get caught in the rain, gently dry your bag with a soft towel as soon as possible. To better protect your bag, consider purchasing a matching Rain Cover, ensuring it stays in top condition, no matter the weather.

To note that it's been designed to completely cover the bags, so the shoulder strap will not be useable (Messenger) when the Rain Cover is being used.
Over time, your Travelteq bag will develop a rich, natural patina that tells the story of your journeys. The Vachetta leather will darken and soften, gaining character with every use. Scratches and marks will blend into the leather, enhancing its unique personality rather than detracting from it. This natural aging process gives your bag a one-of-a-kind look, making it even more personal and distinguished as it evolves alongside you.
We use custom made nylon for our bags, light but with a fused backing to provide strength and structure. Partex Group has been producing some of the finest textiles since 1893 - their nylon is lightweight and designed to endure the rigors of travel while maintaining a refined appearance.
In addition to Nylon and Vachetta leather, our Travelteq bags are crafted with carefully selected, high-quality materials to ensure durability and elegance:
YKK Excella Zippers: We use YKK’s renowned top-grade zippers for smooth, reliable performance. Known for their strength, these zippers are built to last, even through years of daily use.
Solid Brass Hardware: The metal components on our bags are made from solid brass, offering both durability and a polished, timeless aesthetic.
Cotton Lining: Inside, our bags are lined with premium cotton, chosen for its breathability and soft feel, protecting your belongings in style.
Every material we use is thoughtfully selected to blend functionality with elegance, ensuring your Travelteq bag ages beautifully while withstanding the demands of a busy, professional life.
sustainability & Repairs
Care and repair is a core philosophy at Travelteq. We use durable, long-lasting materials like vegetable-tanned Vachetta leather, reducing environmental impact. Our bags are crafted by local artisans in Italy, supporting ethical production and traditional craftsmanship. These allow us to order on a small scale so that no product goes to waste. Built to last and designed for repair, our products are made to be lifelong companions, minimizing waste and promoting a more conscious approach to luxury.
Of course! Our bags are made to be used everyday. However there's always a chance that your Travelteq bag gets damaged or that something breaks. No worries, we always strive to repair a bag.
In Amsterdam we work closely with technicians at Cellarrich, a leather specialist who has been part of the Travelteq story since the very beginning. They know exactly how to restore both our current and older briefcases to their former glory. Promotions
Promotional activities and offers are only available in the appointed periods. If you purchased an item before the promotion period for a higher price, an additional discount is not available for refund.
Conditions
The following conditions apply:
- A product will be offered for free when any other product is ordered (exceptions apply, see point 4.).
- One free item per customer and per order, any colour can be chosen.
- To redeem, the item of choice must be added to cart along with the rest of the order.
- For any orders returned, the free item must also be returned. Failure to do so may result in a refund not being issued or a deduction of the value of the item from the total refund.
- If the customer fails to add the free item to the cart and the order is shipped, Travelteq is not responsible for sending the free item free of charge to the customer.
- If you purchased an item for the full price prior to the sale period, Travelteq is not responsible for offering an additional discount to the customer. Also, if the return period has exceeded, the customer is not allowed to return an item in exchange for a new item with the free item combined.
