What does the Travelteq Lifetime Warranty Cover?
Travelteq offers a lifetime warranty for The Briefcase, The Overnight, The Inside Out, and The Weekender purchased on or after October 1, 2024. Our warranty covers all functional aspects of these premium leather and nylon bags for their lifespan.
At Travelteq, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. That’s why we provide a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
However, our lifetime warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic wear and tear from regular use (e.g., scratches, scuffs, or fading).
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or improper storage.
- Exposure to extreme conditions, including prolonged moisture, direct sunlight, or excessive heat.
- Natural aging of leather, such as the development of patina, which is a hallmark of high-quality leather.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or alterations.
For optimal longevity, we recommend following our care guidelines to keep your bag in excellent condition. Proper care, including leather conditioning and avoiding harsh environments, ensures your Travelteq bag remains as timeless as its design.
I purchased before October 1, 2024. What is my bag’s warranty?
For purchases made before October 1, 2024, a 2-year warranty applies to Briefcases, Messengers, and All Leathers from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship but excludes cosmetic wear and tear, misuse, or abuse, as outlined above.

How do I claim a Travelteq warranty?
To claim our warranty, please notify Travelteq of any defect as soon as possible within the warranty period. Contact our support team at support@travelteq.com with the following details:
- Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation).
- Full name, order number, and order date.
- A description of the issue and supporting photos, if possible.
Once we assess the claim and confirm it falls under the warranty, Travelteq will repair or replace the product. We will cover costs incurred for the return shipment. However, the purchaser is responsible for the initial sending costs, which may vary by location.
The review process typically takes between 7 to 30 working days after receival. After repair or replacement, your product continues to be covered under the original warranty.
