The Woven begins as flat Vachetta, cut into strips of one centimetre. They travel to the Marche, Italy's leather region, to a workshop that has been weaving since 1980. The technique is called Canestrello, after the woven baskets it comes from. Every panel is woven to the exact dimensions of the bag it will become, which is why the pattern runs true across the whole front instead of breaking at a seam. There is no machine that does this part.

Underneath the weave it is a Travelteq briefcase. Padded compartment for a 16-inch laptop, organiser pockets for pens, cards, phone and passport, hidden pocket behind the trolley strap, YKK Excella zippers throughout. Every piece carries a number and whatever you choose to have set inside. The Signature Cover in the colour of your choosing is included.

Note: this bag does not include a shoulder strap. If you would prefer to carry it over the shoulder, write to us before you order.

01 - Choose your colours
Choose your leather colour and your signature cover colour. Leather options:
- Cognac
- Espresso
- Black

Signature cover options:
- Navy/Cognac
- Brown/Espresso

02 - We'll reach out
Within two working days one of us contacts you personally to confirm. Nothing begins until you have approved it in writing.

03 - The hide is prepared
Vegetable-tanned Vachetta, selected by hand and cut into panels, ready for weaving.

04 - The weaving begins
The leather travels to the Marche region, to a workshop that has been weaving Canestrello since 1980. Each panel is carefully woven to the exact size of the bag it will become, by hand, on a frame.

05 - Assembly and inspection
The panels return to Napels, where the bag is built around them. Lining, padding and hardware added.Every piece is checked by hand before it leaves the workshop.

06 - Your bag is delivered
We'll get in touch when the bag is ready, with a tracking link so you can follow it to delivery.

Thoughtfully designed to accommodate a 16-inch laptop, offering ample space for your daily essentials. Its interior features a padded laptop compartment, organizer pockets for pens, cards, phone, passport, and accessories, as well as easy-access exterior and discreet zipped pockets for valuables.

Free shipping on all orders within the Netherlands and Belgium. Every Woven bag is made to order. Being tailor made means it cannot be resold, therefore returns will not be accepted. By completing your order, you confirm you understand this.

If your bag arrives damaged, incomplete, or not as you specified it, write to us and we will repair or replace it at our cost. Your statutory rights stand for two years, and our warranty on the bag itself is for life.
