Focus on Excellence

We place great value on the production process. Our craftspeople require extensive training in order to produce each bag to perfection, with utmost attention to detail.

Our mission is to create the highest quality accessories for everyday use. We have therefore been persistent in sourcing the best materials available worldwide. Throughout our 12 years history, we have been committed to developing and perfecting our collection, to suit the changing needs of our dynamic customers.

Vegetable-tanned Vacchetta leather

Our products are made of top grade vegetable-tanned Vacchetta leather, directly from Tuscany, Italy. The leather has been treated with a unique coating, custom-developed for our collection, in order to protect, also adding a unique texture and subtle shine.

Working only using vegetable-tanning practices generates the most natural type of leather. It is called “vegetable” since it’s an organic method relying on natural vegetable tannins from bark or other plant tissues. It has been around for centuries, however, less than 10% of the world's leather is tanned in this way today.

As well as involving fewer toxic chemicals than chrome-tanning, vegetable tanning is particularly special since it can be used to make thicker leather, and results in added body and character. Also, it allows leather to develop that great leather smell and classic 'aged-leather' look, after years of use.

Limonta nylon

To complement the high-quality leather and add a touch of colour, Travelteq pieces feature Made in Italy nylon. For our collection, we use only premium nylon from Limonta, a century-old Italian textile manufacturer based in Como, Italy. The excellent quality of Limonta fabrics is not the only reason why we work with them. Limonta’s environmental responsibility and commitment to reduce waste and CO2 emissions match with our production values.

Cotton Canvas

The art of spinning Indian cotton is very ancient and dates back to the 14th century. Travelteq proudly uses only 100% premium Indian cotton.
